Jeremy learned about The McCourt Foundation and Team TMF while looking at the registration options for the 2021 LA Marathon. “I am extremely excited to use my passion for running as an opportunity to raise awareness and support for a cause that is close to my heart. My grandfather, Edwin H. Caplan, passed away on November 23, 2020 at the age of 94 years old. During the last couple of years of his life, Ed suffered from Alzheimer’s disease. As an experienced marathoner, the Los Angeles Marathon has been on my to-do list for several years now. When I learned of The McCourt Foundation’s (TMF) involvement in this race, I immediately had the desire to run for Team TMF in memory of my grandfather, Edwin H. Caplan.”
