Rose Bowl Kids Run Registration
Perfect for future marathoners ages 3 - 8, the Rose Bowl Kids Run, also known as the Rose Bowl Rush Kids Run, will take place again this year. We invite you to register your child to join us for this fun and rewarding event.

All registered participants will receive an ASICS technical t-shirt. All finishers will receive an exclusive finisher medal when they cross the Finish Line. Designs for 2025 to be announced at later date.

Qualifying participants will earn their challenge medal at the 2025 LA Kids Run. Please use the same email address for all registrations.

Instructions for Parents
Each child will be given a participant bib that must be pinned to their clothing. There will also be a corresponding "parent bib" which will be given to the parent. Parents may run with their child (only one parent per child) but must show or wear the parent bib to be permitted into the start corral. Parents who do not run with their child can retrieve them after they finish by showing their parent bib.

The course is approximately ½K or about 1/3 mile.
It will start near the main event start line outside the Stadium
It will finish on the Rose Bowl Stadium field, through the main event arch
The Rose Bowl Kids Run starts at 10:45 AM with the first wave. Kids can start lining up at 10:15 AM for warm ups and announcements.
IMPORTANT: Parents and family members who do not want to run with their kids can watch from the spectator stands or go to the finish line to cheer them in. The only way to access the field is with our PARENT ESCORT who will leave at 10:25am SHARP from the Kids Run start line. Please be aware that this is a 1/3 mile walk. At least one adult must meet the child in the Kids Reunion area.
Children will be sent out in waves by age group - oldest in front, youngest in back – every 5 minutes. By sending the kids in groups by age, we make it a more safe and fun experience. Parents are encouraged to run with children 6 and under.
Wave 1 is for children 7-8 years old. • Wave 2 is for children 6 years old. • Wave 3 is for children 5 years old. • Wave 4 is for children 4 years old. • Wave 5 is for children 3 and under
Yes, they are welcome to run in the same wave together - it's up to you as the parent to decide which is the more appropriate wave. Children with less running experience will likely feel more comfortable with a younger age group that is a bit slower.
Each child will be given a participant race bib that must be pinned to the front of their clothing. There will be a matching “parent bib” for one parent to either wear or hold onto if they are on the course and when they leave the finish area with their child.
We love when parents run with their kids and are welcome to run in any of the waves. We recommend a parent or guardian run with children 6 years and under. Please wear your “Parent Bib” when on the course.
If your child is in Wave 1 (7-8 years old) and is comfortable running without you, you can meet them just past the finish line on the field. Once your child has crossed the finish line they will be directed into the Kids Reunion Corral next to the finish line. This is where spectating parents may reunite with their children.

It is recommended you pick up Kids Run bibs on January 17 and 18 at the main event packet pick up. Bibs are also available on race morning in the Solutions Tent until to 10:15am – arrive early to avoid delays.
Kids Run shirts will be available at bib pick up at the Rose Bowl on Jan 17 and 18 or at the Solutions Tent on race day only. Kids Run shirts will not be available at Santa Monica bib pick up.
Sometimes kids and parents get separated. Take time before the Kids Run to discuss your plan – will you run with your child or meet them at the reunion area near the finish line? Write your cell number on the back of your child's bib. If you need help finding each other, come to the Kids Reunion area or locate a staff person.
Yes! The LA Kids Run is the final event in the LA Kids Run Challenge Medal. Register your child for the Santa Monica Classic Kids Run, Rose Bowl Kids Run, and LA Kids Run, and they'll earn an exclusive challenge medal for finishing all three events!
