On January 19, 2025 roads throughout Pasadena will be closed either partially or fully, starting as early as 4am for the Rose Bowl Half Marathon & 5K. View the map below or scroll down for more details on all roads, highways, and freeways affected on that day.
EVENT INFORMATION
On Sunday, January 19, The McCourt Foundation will host the Rose Bowl Half Marathon & 5K. The race starts and finishes at the Rose Bowl and winds through historic Pasadena landmarks and business districts (see reverse side for map). The street closures will begin at 6:00am for a 7:00am start time. The streets will begin to open at an 18/min mile pace.
NO PARKING ZONES
Areas along the race route will be marked as NO PARKING – Tow Away Zones. Please adhere to the dates and times posted on all notifications; all zones will be enforced. Overnight parking permits will not be required to park on city streets within 1⁄4 mile of the course route the morning of Sunday, January 19 from 2AM – 6AM. All other parking restrictions and prohibitions will apply including temporary tow away zones and red curbs. TRANSIT OPERATIONS
Both Metro and Foothill Transit routes in downtown Pasadena will be detoured on race day. For help planning your trip(s) on January 19, please visit Metro at www.metro.net or Foothill Transit at www.foothilltransit.org.
