Parking, Shuttles, & Hotels

Participants may park for FREE near the Start Line of the Los Angeles Marathon at Dodger Stadium.

• Dodger Stadium opens to cars at 3am PT on Sunday, March 17
• There is no shuttle transportation back to Dodger Stadium from the Finish Line after the race.
• Cars will not be allowed to park overnight at Dodger Stadium between Sunday, March 17 and Monday, March 18. Vehicles left after 6pm on March 17 will be towed at their owner’s expense.

ACCESS TO DODGER STADIUM RACE MORNING

• Access to Dodger Stadium on race morning via the Golden State Gate only:
  • Via I-5: take the Stadium Way exit to access the Golden State Gate
  • Via CA-110: Use 2000 Academy Rd to via GPS. The Stadium Way exits from CA-110 (both northbound and southbound) will be closed on race day.

DROP OFF

• Runner drop off is at Lot 4 of Dodger Stadium
• Runners who will be dropped off by friends/family or Uber/Lyft should follow the access instructions above to access Lot 4 of Dodger Stadium

• Parking is FREE via Gate E

The Health & Fitness Expo is in Lot G of Dodger Stadium.

 

From the Finish Line in Century City to the Start Line at Dodger Stadium

• Pick-up location: Avenue of the Stars, South of Olympic Blvd.
• Shuttle Times: shuttles will run from continuously from 3:00 am - 5:30 am
• Shuttles are free, but it is recommended you reserve a time.

Please make your shuttle reservation during online registration. If you did not make your shuttle reservation online or wish to change shuttles, please take the following action:

• Log into participant account at manage.hakuapp.com/login
• Click "Your Events"
• Click on "Los Angeles Marathon Weekend" registration
• Scroll through the registration to the "Pre-race Shuttle To Start Line Reservation" section
• Update to your preferred time and click the blue "Save" button in the bottom.

From Union Station in Downtown LA to the Start Line

• Pick-up location: Bay 9 at Patsaouras Transit Plaza
• Shuttle Times: 5:00 am, 5:30 am, 6:00 am
• Shuttles are free, but it is recommended you reserve a time.
• There are NO shuttles back to Union Station after the race

Please make your shuttle reservation during online registration. If you did not make your shuttle reservation online or wish to change shuttles, please take the following action:

For those who book a hotel in Downtown LA through one of our preferred hotels, complimentary shuttle transportation is available to the Start Line.

• Pick-up Location: 4th & Figueroa Street, Los Angeles
• Shuttle Times: 5:00-5:30 am
• Shuttles are free but you must receive a wristband at hotel check in
• Post-race shuttles are available for hotel guests with a wristband from 9am-4pm departing from Avenue of the Stars south of Olympic Blvd.

The Start Line of the Los Angeles Marathon is at Dodger Stadium.Friends and family are welcome to join their runners at the Start Line.

PARKING AT DODGER STADIUM

• Vehicle access to Dodger Stadium is ONLY permitted through the Golden State Gate accessible via I-5
• Use 2000 Academy Rd. to navigate via GPS to the Golden State Gate. This will take you directly to the Golden State Gate.
• Use the RIGHT lanes leading into the Golden State Gate and proceed to the Runner Parking Area in Parking Lot 3

IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT PARKING AT DODGER STADIUM

• The Stadium Way exits from CA-110 (both northbound and southbound) will be closed on race day
• All other Dodger Stadium parking gates will be closed to vehicular traffiC
• Dodger Stadium gates will open to vehicular traffic on Sunday, March 17 at 3:00 am PT
• Parking at Dodger Stadium during the Los Angeles Marathon is free
• There is no shuttle transportation from the Finish Line back to Dodger Stadium after the race.
• The Downtown and Sunset Gates will not be opened to vehicles.
• Retrieve your vehicle by 6 pm on March 17. Vehicles left in the lot after 6 pm are subject to tow at their owner’s expense.

DROP OFF AT DODGER STADIUM

If you are being dropped off at Dodger Stadium via Lyft/Uber/or friend/family:

• Enter through the Golden State Gate, accessible via I-5
• Enter 2000 Academy Rd., Los Angeles CA to navigate via GPS. This will take you directly to the Golden State Gate.
• Use the LEFT lanes leading into the Golden State Gate and proceed to the Runner Drop-Off Area in Parking Lot 4

There is ample parking in Century City at the Westfield Century City Mall and other parking lots, however, please make note of the following things:

• Allow for extra time and expect traffic
• Be aware of and adhere to all posted “No Parking” signs in the neighborhoods surrounding Ave of the Stars
• Parking enforcement will be on-site throughout the day, and you will be ticketed and/or towed
• Make note of your parking garage so as not to forget where you parked post race
