Race Update (January 10, 2025)
Thank you for your patience and understanding during this challenging time. We are deeply grateful for your commitment to this event and look forward to seeing you—whether in person or virtually—on April 27.
Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone impacted by the ongoing fires in and around the City of Pasadena and the greater Los Angeles area.
Due to the fires, the impact on air quality, the strain on local resources, and the host venue currently serving as an operations center for first responders, we have made the decision to postpone the Rose Bowl Half Marathon & 5K scheduled for January 19, 2025. The well-being of our participants, volunteers, and community is at the heart of every decision we make. We also hold deep respect for the emergency personnel and first responders who are working tirelessly to protect our community. We recognize that the postponement may come as a disappointment to some, and we truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate these unforeseen and difficult circumstances.
At this time, we are actively working with our partners at the Rose Bowl on rescheduling the Rose Bowl Half Marathon & 5K and while we do not yet have a new date, we will share updates with participants and the community via email, our website, and social media as soon as they become available.
If you have any immediate questions, please reach out to us at solutions@mccourtfoundation.org.
Thank you for your continued support of the Rose Bowl Half Marathon & 5K. We stand with everyone affected by the fires and we look forward to seeing you at the Start Line at a future date, under safer and more favorable conditions.
