The Academy Awards and the ASICS Los Angeles Marathon were initially scheduled for the same date, March 15, 2026. A resolution has been reached, and the Oscars will remain on March 15, while the Los Angeles Marathon will now take place on Sunday, March 8, 2026. Participants registered before May 8 received an email on that date with options to keep their registration, defer to 2027, or request a full refund. All registrations after May 8 are subject to our standard registration policy.

Registration Policy

The ASICS Los Angeles Marathon is now scheduled to take place on March 8, 2026. There are no refunds, transfers, or deferrals for any reason including an event cancellation, event conducted at a shorter distance or virtual event, or the event being rescheduled. Prices may increase at anytime.

Participants registered before May 8 received an email on that date with options to keep their registration, defer to 2027, or request a full refund. All registrations after May 8 are subject to our standard registration policy.
