A helping hand for families in need.
TMF is committed to providing financial assistance to the broad community of neurological patients and families. We aim to serve as many patients as possible, continually growing our giving to meet the immeasurable need. Our financial assistance program provides grants to help lessen the burden of unanticipated costs incurred by Neurologic disorders.
We understand firsthand how challenging these diseases can be for both patients and caregivers, and hope that this program will provide comfort and support when patients and families need it the most.
When Teddy was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of Dementia, he very quickly became unable to care for his four-year-old son, Jack and eventually, himself. His family wanted to send him to a living facility that was equipped to cater to his individual needs. Teddy’s insurance would only cover partial medical costs and no living needs. TMF was able to help Teddy transition into a facility that will provide individualized care focused on improving his quality of life.
When Terry was diagnosed with ALS, his wife and caregiver had to cut back to part-time hours at work as a Nurse to care for her husband. With one child in junior high and another about to begin college, this family needed help to make ends meet. A grant given by TMF helped to alleviate some of the financial burden this family experienced as they adjusted to their new lifestyle.
I am so grateful for this ramp every day. It allows me easy and safe access in and out of my home. Thank you.
