The McCourt Foundation was founded with the mission to help patients and families living with neurological diseases through research, education and financial assistance. Over the past few years, the foundation has broadened its reach by partnering with additional health-related organizations.

Our new initiative allows us to use our athletic event platforms to create partnership programs that empower passionate individuals to give back, regardless of the worthy health-and wellness-related causes they support.

We are happy to collaborate and provide new ways to help these individuals raise awareness and increase financial support.

Team Liam's Lead Outs for Spina Bifida

Mary and Dan Holleran

After their first son, Liam was born with Spina Bifida, a rear congenital defect of the spine, the Holleran knew they wanted to do something to give back to that community. So they partnered with TMF to form Team Lima’s Lead Outs that benefit the Spina Bifida Association.

Team Wheelie Cool for Diabetes

Ryan, Charity, Cameron and Kylie

This family’s father and grandfather passed away from a life long battle with diabetes. To do their part in giving back, they formed Team Wheelie Cool to fundraise in honor of him and benefit Joslin Diabetes.

The Joseph "Dodo" Nee Collaborative Center

The Nee Family

This organization might be small in resources but are large in the services they provide. Today, they focus specifically on substance abuse, mental health treatment, and prevention services in the greater South Boston community, regardless of people’s status and ability to pay. They were too small to put on their own athletic event, but through TMF, they now have their own 5K.
